Markham SC GU15 OPDL is an elite soccer squad of highly skilled and competitive young women, led by Head Coach Sherif Elmasri, who has revamped the team’s roster for the 2025 season. This dynamic team is always hungry for new challenges and strives to face top-tier competition to sharpen their skills and elevate their gameplay. Under the guidance of Head Coach Elmasri and Assistant Coach Arshdeep Virk, Markham SC GU15 OPDL has demonstrated remarkable resilience and teamwork. In the 2023/2024 season, the team competed both locally and provincially, placing 3rd overall in the prestigious Ontario Player Development League (OPDL). Our athletes showed their elite level of play in several high-stakes events, including: the 2024 Canada Cup-Spring: 1st place in the finals, 2024 Elite Showcase: 2nd place in the finals, Top Rated Challenge Cup hosted by FTF: 2nd place in the finals, 2024 Top Rated Super Cup hosted by FTF: 2nd place in the finals. Markham SC GU15 OPDL is more than just a team; we are a united force, working as one both on and off the field.
