Team description

For the past two years, we have been working with the 2015-generation football team, focusing on developing their skills in the 8-a-side game. Competing in the highest regional league in the Lyon area, our team regularly faces 2014-generation teams. After four rounds and eleven games, our results are promising, with seven wins, one draw, and three losses, making for a very encouraging start to the championship. On the tournament side, we had the privilege of participating in the Brussels Cup, an international tournament, where we reached the Europa League final. We were the only French and amateur club to achieve this distinction among the four competitions. In our first U11 tournament of the season, our players reached the final once again, facing opponents a year older. The strategy of our club, as well as our approach as coaches, is to guide these young players as they learn the 8-a-side format and to prepare them for the transition to 11-a-side game. Beyond competitive results, our goal in participating in this tournament is to provide a meaningful experience and help the children understand the importance of values through this football journey.
